“Bless you for your fear
for it is a sign of wisdom.
Do not hold yourself in fear.
Transform the energy to flexibility
and you will be free
from what you fear.”
-Yoko Ono, Revelations (Acorn)

“Bless you for your fear” is a growing wall intstallation -around which a series of peformances and rituals appear-, which aims to find a meeting point between the chaotic crossing of flows we are living nowadays on many levels; and with them, the mix of backgrounds, traditions, purposes and reasons behind.
What does it make us move, want to scape, yearn to break physical, time and spiritual frontiers? Dreaming of that only thing that could be able to make us all agree to stick together and follow a powerful only goal…(*) What would it be?
My proposal is fear. Fear is the meeting point. Fear as both the enemy to fight and the driving force. The limit and the connection, the protection and the vulnerability, the wall and the glove. All depends on how you deal with it.
(*)”¿Qué pasaría si un día
cuenta de que somos mayoría?
¿Qué pasaría si de pronto
una injusticia, sólo una,
es repudiada por todos,
todos los que somos, todos,
no unos, no algunos, sino todos?”
-M. Benedetti, Qué pasaría
Independent of the wall, cleaning rituals are held under the rain, where I wear clothes that I have written with my fears, until the ink starts to dissapear:
